Lawrence Bush, editor of the 70-year-old independent magazine, Jewish Currents, will discuss the reality of Jewish resistance to Nazism. Why does the “sheep-to-slaughter” mythology still persist? What has been its impact upon Jewish identity? What lessons might we take for our own era from those Jews who found the capacity to resist?
