From Campus to Market: Technology Transfer in the US and Israel
How do cutting-edge innovations make their way from university research labs into products sold by for-profit companies? How does the path of technology transfer differ in the United States and the “Start-up Nation” of Israel?
Amir Naiberg, the President & CEO of UCLA Technology Development Corporation and former CEO of Yeda, the Weizmann Institute of Science’s technology transfer company, will share insights from his experience and compare the two nations in terms of entrepreneurial ecosystems, legal, cultural, and financial issues.
