Stitched & Sewn: The Life-Saving Art of Holocaust Survivor Trudie Strobel

Free

A Conversation wth Trudie Strobel and Jody
In Stitched & Sewn, author Jody Savin tells the story how a needle and thread twice saved the life of Holocaust survivor Trudie Strobel. After the war, Trudie settled in California, raising a family and never discussing the horrors she witnessed during the Holocaust. When the trauma of her youth caught up with her, Trudie began to stitch and sew, and what began as therapy exploded into works of breathtaking art.
