Jews have a long history in American music, from Irving Berlin to Benny Goodman to Lesley Gore to Lenny Kravitz to the Beastie Boys (well, Mike D anyway). Come learn about Jewish contributions to the American songbook, listen to songs with Jewish themes, and enjoy everything from ragtime to rock and roll.
Led by a docent, this tour offers an overview of the history of the Holocaust through close observation of Museum artifacts and documents. The tour lasts 90 minutes. Tours are free and open to the public. No reservations are required.
