Book Talk: Memories That Won’t Go Away — A Tribute to the Children of the Kindertransport

Free

In commemoration of the 81st anniversary of the first Kindertransport, Museum Board Chair Michele Gold will discuss her book, Memories That Won’t Go Away, which tells the stories of hundreds of the 10,000 children (including Gold’s mother, Rita Berwald) who traveled alone from Nazi-occupied territories to Great Britain in 1938-1939.

The event will include an intergenerational panel discussion with Gold, Kindertransport survivors, and children of Kindertransport survivors.
